Hotel and Venue Details

The meeting will take place at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 28105) in Memphis, TN. The meeting will take place in the Marlo Thomas Center and the poster sessions will take place in the ARC Building Lobby.

A hotel block is available at the Hotel Indigo (22 N B.B. King Blvd, Memphis, TN 38103) on a first come, first served basis. Book by September 19th. (If the autofills are incorrect for you, you can update your room quantity and dates as-needed.) All shuttles will pick up and drop off from this location. Additionally, a Welcome Reception reception will take place at Hotel Indigo on Sunday, October 19th.

The Social Event and Dinner will take place on Monday, October 20th at Silky O’Sullivans on the corner of Beale St &, 183 Beale Street, S B.B. King Blvd, Memphis, TN 38103) The social includes a hosted dinner, plus access to live music. The menu will accommodate common dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

Getting Around

You are strongly advised to not walk to and from campus. A shuttle will be provided from Hotel Indigo to campus each morning, and at the end of each day. If you miss a shuttle, or you need to leave early for any reason, you’re encouraged to engage a taxi or ride-share.

Getting Here / Safety

  • Shuttle (Walls Limousine Service): Hotel Indigo  A.W. Willis Security Gate. Details are listed on the agenda.
  • Do not walk downtown. Please use the shuttle.
  • If you must rideshare, set pickup/drop-off to A.W. Willis Security Gate #4 only.

Badges & Entry

  • Bring a government-issued ID. You’ll receive an event badge at check-in; keep it visible at all times.
  • Sunday (Oct 19): External attendees may enter/exit the MTC during program hours with badge.

Key Locations & Times

  • Sunday — Junior Investigators: MTC Meeting Rooms 3 (IA1406) for meeting and 2 (IA1405) for meals and; Board Room (IA1500) for overflow.
  • Monday — Main + Posters: MTC Auditorium (IA1011). Posters & reception in ARC Lobbies (M1001/M1002).
    • Poster Presenter set-up: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM (boards numbered; thumbtacks provided)
    • Poster Session: 4:00 PM (catering setup at 3:30 PM)
    • Poster teardown: 5:30–6:00 PM same day
    • Afternoon collaborative discussion breakout session guides holding group color-coded signs outside of back of auditorium for escorting to location. Be sure to know which colored group you’re in.
    • Tuesday — Main + Breakouts: MTC Auditorium; Afternoon collaborative discussion breakout session guides holding group color-coded signs outside of back of auditorium for escorting to location.

Tours (select groups)

  • Meet outside of Auditorium back exit. Guides will hold signs:
    • 10:00–10:45 AM — Group 1a and 1b
    • 10:45–11:30 AM — Group 2
  • If you registered for a tour, we’ll split groups according to the group you’ve been pre-assigned. If you want a tour and didn’t sign up, please just come as we have flexibility to accommodate extra people.

Meals

  • Some meals/receptions are Private Event — Registered Attendees Only. Look for signage.
